INFO SESSIONS FOR 2011 VMO!

Volunteers for Medical Outreach (VMO) at UC Berkeley is looking for a new group of people to join us on our trip to Vietnam next Summer, 2011! If you're interested in medical outreach abroad and would like to learn more about our trip, please come to one of our INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 OR Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in 258 Dwinelle @ 7pm. Volunteers for Medical Outreach

In 2008, a group of highly dedicated UC Berkeley students founded Volunteers for Medical Outreach (VMO) in order provide free basic medical care to disadvantaged populations in Vietnam. VMO members fundraise and collect donations throughout the academic year to buy medicines and medical supplies needed to run mobile clinics, hepatitis B vaccination clinics, and corrective surgery programs held each summer in Vietnam. In addition, VMO members assist doctors during clinical sessions as well as teach basic health lessons to school children.
